Where to find invites
Once you're in the KnotDo beta, open Settings → Invite Friends. This page shows how many invites you have left, how many friends have joined through you, and a form to send a new invite.
Invites are how new people get beta access without waiting on the public waitlist — a link you send goes straight to account creation.
Sending an invite
Enter your friend's email address and, optionally, a short personal note that will be included in the email. Click Send invite.
Your friend receives an email inviting them to KnotDo with a one-click link. That link opens the registration page with the invite already applied, so they just set a name and password to get in. Invites expire after 30 days if unused.
Each account has a fixed number of invites (shown at the top of the page). When you run out, that's your limit for the beta.
Tracking your invites
The Your invites list shows every invite you've sent and its current status:
- Pending — sent, not yet accepted, still valid
- Accepted — your friend created their account
- Expired — 30 days passed without being used
How referrals work
When someone joins through your invite, KnotDo records that you referred them. Today that's tracked for your history and the Friends joined count.
We're building a referral rewards program that will pay out once KnotDo becomes a paid product open to everyone. Every friend you bring in now is already credited to you, so early invites count toward those future rewards. There's nothing extra you need to do — just invite people you think would genuinely like KnotDo.
